Is it safe for everyone? Acupressure mats are generally safe and suitable for most healthy adults when used as directed. However, we recommend consulting your doctor before use if you have any of the following conditions:
- Pregnancy (certain pressure points may stimulate contractions)
- Bleeding disorders or use of blood thinners
- Diabetes or poor circulation
- Neuropathy or reduced skin sensation
- Open wounds, skin infections, irritation, or very sensitive/thin skin
- Unmanaged high or low blood pressure
- Other serious medical conditions
Do not use the mat on broken, irritated, or inflamed skin, or over moles/warts. Start with shorter sessions (5–10 minutes) to allow your body to adjust, and stop immediately if you experience unusual pain or discomfort.
How long until I feel results? Results vary by individual, but most customers report noticeable benefits within the first 3–5 sessions:
- Immediate relaxation and stress relief often occur during or right after the first use.
- Improved sleep, reduced muscle tension, and overall pain relief typically build with consistent daily use over 1–2 weeks.
Like any wellness practice (yoga, meditation, etc.), consistency is key to achieving lasting results. Listen to your body and adjust session length/frequency as needed.
When will my order arrive? We process orders within 1–3 business days. Standard shipping to most US addresses takes 7–15 business days. What is your return policy? We stand behind our products with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not completely happy for any reason, contact us within 30 days of delivery at support@acutherapy.fit. We'll arrange an exchange, store credit, or full refund (your choice). Items must be returned in original condition (unused or gently used, with all packaging and tags intact). Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
